Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar browser storage support this website. It covers account sessions, request security, appearance preferences, and the cookie-notice choice. Read it alongside the Privacy Policy for information about account records and privacy requests.
1. What cookies and browser storage are
A cookie is a small value stored by your browser and sent with certain requests to a website. It can help the site associate a request with an existing session. Local storage is a separate browser facility that stores values for a website and makes them available to its scripts. Local-storage values are not automatically sent with every request in the way cookies are. These technologies can have different lifetimes. A session may expire after a configured period even if a browser window remains open. Some browser-storage values remain until you remove them, the site replaces them, or your browser clears them. Private-browsing modes and browser settings can change how long information remains available.
2. Account-session cookies
The application uses a session cookie to maintain continuity between page requests, including signed-in access and temporary messages. The exact cookie name can depend on the deployment’s configuration. A session identifier is used to connect the browser to server-side session information; it should not be shared or copied into support messages. Without the required session mechanism, the website may be unable to keep you signed in, remember the progress of a form, or display a secure response after submission. Session expiration and browser-cookie deletion can require you to sign in again. Leaving a page open does not guarantee that its session will remain valid indefinitely.
3. Request-security cookies and temporary state
The framework may provide an XSRF-TOKEN cookie as part of protection against forged requests. Forms also use request-verification tokens. These mechanisms help the application check that a state-changing request comes from the expected browsing context. They do not replace your password, PIN, or transaction authorisation steps. If a form reports that a session or page has expired, refresh the page and review the information before trying again. Check the activity record before repeating a payment request. Clearing cookies while a form is open can invalidate its security state.
4. Theme preference
When you select light or dark mode, the site stores a local-storage value named “theme” so your choice can be used on later visits from that browser. This appearance preference does not represent a transaction, change your balance, or establish your identity. Its value may remain until you change the theme or remove the site’s browser data. Your choice is specific to the browser and device where it is stored. Another browser, device, or private-browsing session may use a different appearance. If browser storage is restricted, the choice may not persist.
5. Cookie-notice preference
The cookie notice records an Allow or Decline choice in local storage under “cookie-preference.” That stored value allows the current notice to remain dismissed on later visits in the same browser. The current implementation records that choice; it is not a detailed control panel for individual third-party tools. Declining the notice does not disable the cookies required for sign-in and request security. It also does not automatically block every external resource, remove previously stored values, or change settings on another website. Allowing it is not a subscription to marketing and should not be interpreted as permission for unrelated processing.
6. External resources and optional technologies
Pages can load resources such as fonts or images from external hosts. Those requests may disclose connection information, such as the browser’s IP address, to the host. Whether an external resource sets its own cookies depends on the resource and provider. External links lead to services with their own policies and settings. No particular advertising or analytics provider is promised or required by this policy. If optional tracking is introduced, the description and controls should be updated to match the technology actually used and any applicable permission requirements. The current notice should not be assumed to manage an integration that has not been connected to it.
7. Managing or removing stored information
Use your browser’s site-data or privacy settings to inspect and delete cookies and local storage for this website. Removing “cookie-preference” causes the notice to appear again. Removing “theme” resets the saved appearance choice. Removing session cookies may sign you out and interrupt unfinished forms. Browser instructions vary, so consult the help provided by your browser for exact steps. Blocking all cookies can prevent account features from working. You may still be able to read public pages, but authentication and secure submissions can fail. Browser-level settings apply separately from any choice displayed by the website. On a shared device, sign out and consider clearing site data after use.
8. Changes and questions
Cookie names, lifetimes, and configuration can change with hosting or application updates. The policy should be reviewed when those changes affect what is stored or why it is used. Contact support through the Contact page if you need information about a cookie or storage value you have found. Provide its name and the page where you noticed it, but do not send its private value or an active session identifier.
